Product Overview

The 122408RP is a TNC Straight Crimp Plug with gold-plated brass contacts. This plug is made of brass with nickel plated finish and comes with a PTFE insulator. It is suitable for Belden 9258, RG-8X and LMR-240 type cable.

Unusual connector The TNC connector is not identified correctly. It should be a TNC male for RG8X, come to find out it came as a TNC male shell for a TNC female interior. Strange. Never seen one before. Worked it out with customer service to get it resolved. January 5, 2015

This connector appears to be a Reverse Polarity connector such that the center pin is actually a socket. The description doesn't really seem to call that out, and only by going to Amphenol's site did I realize it was different from the 122408 .

Is this a reverse polarity/center socket connector?

According to datasheet, this plug can be crimped onto RG-8X or LMR-240 coaxial cables. Suggested part number of coaxial cable is 9258 010U500 from Belden.
