Product Overview

The PME271M series capacitors from Kemet are radial leaded, class X2 metalized impregnated paper film capacitors for AC Line EMI suppression and RC networks. These capacitors are made of multilayer metalized paper encapsulated and impregnated in self extinguishing material meeting the requirements of UL94 V-0 standard. The impregnated paper ensures excellent stability and reliability properties, particularly in applications with continuous operation. Typical applications include worldwide use as an electromagnetic interference suppressor in all X2 and across the line applications.
  • Capacitance values ranges from 0.001μF to 0.6μF
  • Voltage rating is 275VAC at 50/60Hz
  • Lead spacing of 10.2mm to 25.4mm
  • Capacitance tolerance is ±20% for C ≤0.1μF, ±10% for C > 0.1μF
  • Operating temperature range from -40˚C to 110˚C
  • ENEC, UL, cUL approved
  • 100% screening factory test at 2150VDC
  • Highest possible safety regarding active and passive flammability
  • Excellent self healing properties
