Raspberry Pi Boards

All the Raspberry Pi board models available to buy from the officially licensed manufacturer and distributor.

Primarily designed to help children and adults to enhance their skills in programming and digital literacy, Raspberry Pi devices are small, low-cost yet powerful computers around the size of a standard credit card. They are capable of running a number of coding languages including Scratch and Python, and can perform practically any function you'd expect of a desktop computer.

At Newark, we offer an extensive selection of Raspberry Pi products, including the powerful Raspberry Pi 3 Model B and the Raspberry Pi Compute Module, capable of being applied to a wide range of projects from simple educational tools to complex design challenges.

Raspberry Pi 2 Model B v1.2
1GB RAM
The second generation Raspberry Pi model with enhanced features that render it capable of running a full range of ARM GNU/Linux distributions in addition to Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Core. Offering excellent flexibility for learners, it is an ideal option for school projects and is fully compatible with Raspberry Pi 1 devices.

The Raspberry Pi 2 Model B v1.2 requires the latest operating system for full functionality. Please download and install the latest version available from RaspberryPi.org/downloads onto your microSD card before booting.
Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3
1GB RAM
The Compute Module 3, within a 200 pin SODIMM design, simplifies the design process engineers need to undertake when developing a System on Module (SoM) solution into their final product. Engineers do not need to concern themselves with the complexities of interfacing with the BCM2837 processer directly and instead can concentrate on designing the interfaces to their own IO board and their application software. This simplicity fosters rapid development.

Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 Lite
1GB RAM
The Compute Module 3 Lite product is the same as the Compute Module 3, within a 200 pin SODIMM design; except the eMMC Flash is not fitted, and the SD/eMMC interface pins are available for the user to connect their own SD/eMMC deviceBroadcom BCM2837 processor.

(N.B. when operating with the IO Board, an SD card with a suitable image must be connected to the IO board for the system to work).
