Product Overview
AD8042 is a dual, low power voltage feedback, high speed rail-to-rail amplifier. Typical application includes video switchers, distribution amplifiers, analog-to-digital drivers, professional cameras, CCD imaging systems and ultrasound equipment (multichannel).
- Fully specified at +3V, +5V and ±5V supplies
- Output swings to within 30mV of either rail
- Input voltage range extends 200mV below ground
- No phase reversal with inputs 0.5V beyond supplies
- Low power of 6.4mA quiescent current (per amplifier)
- High speed and fast settling on 5V: 160MHz -3dB BW, 200V/μs slew rate, 39ns settling time to 0.1%
- Good video specifications (RL=150 ohm, G=+2), gain flatness of 0.1dB to 14MHz
- 0.02% differential gain error and 0.04° differential phase error
- Low distortion of -64dBc worst harmonic at 10MHz and drives 50mA and 0.5V from supply rails
- 8 lead NSOIC package and operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
