The EN2997SE61212FN from Souriau is EN2997 series, MIL-DTL-83723 series III equivalent straight plug with 12 contacts. The EN2997 high temperature fire wall connectors are corrosion and fire resistant connectors qualified per EN2997 standards. These connectors have self locking mechanism on every plug which allows a higher resistance to vibration and are designed to withstand extreme shock, exposure and vibration. EN2997 series threaded coupled connectors are adapted to sensor applications under high aeronautical constraints such as engine and landing gear environments. These are fully interchangeable with MIL 83723 hermetic connectors.
- 360° teeth enable additional backshell positions
- Improved shielding resistance due to shell to shell bottoming, additional barriers to leakage
- Thermoplastic insulator and silicone elastomer grommet and seal
- Compact low profile connectors with high hermeticity performance
- Operates at extreme temperature of 260°C cyclic
- 500 mating cycles
- Salt spray exposure of 500hour per EN2591-307 standard
- Insulation resistance is greater than 5000Mohm at 500VDC
- Stainless steel body material with passivated finish
- Copper alloy crimp socket contacts with gold plating
