Product Overview

Each kit has everything needed for a basic application and is ideal for those starting with IIoT. The HARTING MICA boasts a container-based open architecture so users can easily customize to their specific application well beyond what is included in the kits. This kit contains everything needed for a basic RFID asset tracking application. Inside there are industrial RFID tags, the HARTING MICA RF-R300 reader, two antennas and all the cabling you need. The HARTING MICA is pre-installed with a demo version of the Ha-VIS Middleware, which translates the raw RFID signals formats into modern software frameworks. The demo software is fully functional for a period of 6 hours at a time to allow for a complete evaluation. The modular software design of the new reader gives HARTING the ability to support various communications protocols such as LLRP, OPC UA, or even the implementation of a very powerful middleware functionality based on ALE 1.1 standard of the GS1®.

  • UHF RFID antenna connection: 2x RP-TNC connector (50Ohm); reader internally multiplexed Output power max. 0.5W Frequency range 865-928MHz (region configurable)
  • Interfaces Ethernet (TCP/IP) 10/100 Mbit/s; Full Spec. 802.3
  • Diagnosis (LED) 3 LEDs to visualize the device and antenna status
  • Inputs / Outputs up to 8 configurable IOs (12 / 24 V)
  • Performance: Bulk-reading capability up to 100 transponders/s; Max. reading distance up to 5meters, related to the transponder type and environmental conditions
  • Power supply: Power supply 24 V DC (± 5 %) / Power over Ethernet (PoE); Current consumption max. 500 mA
