I am trying to connect the alphanumeric display to the raspberry pi, but I cannot figure out which pins connect to what on the raspberry pi with this alphanumeric display. I am looking at the technical data sheet and I don't understand what most of it means. Is there a step by step guide to follow?

Answers

A: 
You can use the GPIO's, I2C line, VCC and GND signals of the Raspberry pi available on the board to interface the LED display and 16X2 display.

Use an solderless bread board (#56T0249) along with some jumper wires to interface the display side and raspberry pi signals.
