10MHz Voltage Controlled - VCO & VCXO Oscillators:

5 Products Found

We offer a wide range of voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) and voltage controlled crystal oscillators (VCXOs)

What is the difference between a VCO and a VCXO?

A VCO or Voltage Controlled Oscillator is an electronic oscillator whose oscillating/output frequency can be controlled by a DC control voltage. Changing this applied voltage modifies the oscillating/output frequency of the VCO. The oscillation frequency of a VCO is generated using an electronic circuit.

A VCXO is a Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillator; it consists of a crystal oscillator with a varactor diode and supporting circuitry. The oscillating/output frequency of a VCXO is determined by the properties of the crystal. When a DC control voltage is applied across the crystal, the oscillation frequency changes.

Analog Devices’ Maxim 2.4GHz monolithic voltage controlled oscillators are self-contained voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs) intended for use in the 2.4GHz to 2.5GHz ISM band. Each IC combines a fully integrated oscillator and output buffer in a miniature 8-pin μMAX package.

Features:

  1. On-Chip Tank Circuit
  2. Internally Matched Output Buffer Amplifier
  3. Low-Current Shutdown Mode
  4. +2.7V to +5.5V Supply Voltage Range
  5. Miniature 8-Pin µMAX Package

Applications include 802.11b DSSS WLAN, 802.11 FHSS WLAN, Home RF, and 2.4GHz Bluetooth ISM Proprietary Radio.

SiTime MEMS voltage controlled crystal oscillators (VCXOs) provide exceptional dynamic performance and the highest reliability for video distribution (CMTS), networking, telecom, and instrumentation applications. These devices are engineered to maintain the same phase noise and frequency tuning accuracies in the presence of common environmental hazards, such as shock, vibration, noisy power supply, and EMI. They enable equipment, such as cable headend and remote radio head (RRH), to deliver the highest performance, best reliability, and the highest quality of service in uncontrolled environments, such as un-airconditioned basements or rooftops.

  1. Any frequency from 1 MHz to 725 MHz in 1 Hz step
  2. ±15 ppm, best dynamic stability over entire temperature range (-40 to +85°C)
  3. 0.02 ps/mV power supply noise rejection (PSNR), lowering power supply requirements
  4. Best (0.1%) and widest (±25 to ±3200 ppm) pull range linearity, 50x better than quartz
