Submit an order before the cut-off time to shorten your delivery time

When selecting the delivery method, orders of in-stock items will be shipped out either the same day or next business day depending on the cut-off time listed below. Items being transferred from other global warehouses may require additional time for delivery.

  • All Shipping Methods: Delivery cut-off is 5:45 PM (EST)
  • In stock items ordered before this time will ship out the same day the order is placed.

Shipping Options

We offer a variety of shipping methods for your order. Once your order is shipped, we'll notify you via email, informing you of the tracking number (if available) so you always know where your order is. Below you can find more information on our shipping options.

  • Newark Flat Rate
    All deliveries will be shipped via a provider that Newark chooses. Flat rate works based on the calculation of the overall value, excluding tax and freight. If your order totals $200.00 or more, then your shipping will be free. If it is under $200.00 CAD then you will be charged $11.99 per order. Scheduled orders will carry the same logic per scheduled shipment. For example, if you schedule three shipments and the last one is under $200.00 CAD, you will be billed $11.99 for that shipment and at the time of it is sent out. This stands for dedicated inventory agreements as well. Shipment method will be next day air, with the exclusion of hazardous or heavy product.
  • Air shipments
    Please select Canada UPS Air for next day delivery to all major cities in Canada; please add additional days for remote locations. All shipments include brokerage, duties and taxes.
  • Ground shipments
    For large, heavy items over 50 lbs and/or for special handling, select a ground method.
  • Saturday delivery
    When and where possible, items may be delivered on Saturday depending on your choice of shipping and whether you submit your order before the cut-off time. However this can not always be guaranteed. Orders submitted on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped out the next business day.


Items on backorder will be shipped when they arrive back in stock. If you place an order that has one or more items on backorder you can choose whether to have all items shipped together or to receive the items currently in stock as soon as possible.

Options for backorders

  • Backorder allowed
    We'll ship in-stock items immediately and place any out-of-stock items on backorder. Backordered items will be shipped as they become available. Therefore, your order may arrive in single or multiple shipments.
  • Ship order complete
    If any items in your order are out of stock, we can hold your entire order until all items become available. Your order will then arrive in one shipment.

Placing Orders

Q: What does it mean when a part is backordered?
A: Occasionally, demand for certain products can lead to them being temporarily ‘out of stock.’ However, if you still want this item and don't mind waiting, we are happy to accept orders and ship it once stock becomes available.
Q: Can I download or email my cart?
A: If you want to save your cart online for purchase later you can use the saved carts feature.
Q: What are order minimums and multiples?
A: Certain products like resistors or cable come in reels or packs of set length or quantity. They are not available for sale in quantities below certain levels because it is not economical to package them in smaller quantities.
Q: How do I apply a voucher code to my order?
A: You can enter a voucher code on the shopping cart page. When you have entered a valid voucher code, press the “Apply” button and the cart total should display the updated discounted total.

Q: How do I check out from my saved cart?
A: You cannot directly check out from the saved cart page. You must add items from a saved cart to your current cart for check out. For more details visit the Saved Carts page.

Q: Can I save my shopping cart and complete my order later?
A: Yes. In the shopping cart, you can save your cart by entering the name of your choice in the Save cart field, then click "Save cart". The saved cart is then available in My Account.

Q: Is this shipping to a freight forwarder for export?
A: A freight forwarder exports your shipment for you. If you are shipping to a freight forward service, we are required to ask for the address of the ultimate destination.
Q: I cannot see the card I added for future orders in Checkout or in My Account?
A: We are not permitted to store cards that are declined on first use. In this situation you will be required to enter and store the card details again. This can be done during your next order or in My Account.
Some organisations allow their buyers to use the same card for purchases. If a previous user removes the right for the card to be stored, we will no longer be able to store the card. Simply re-enter the card details and select to store the card for future use.
