DC1620A-R demonstration board is to evaluate the performance of the LTC2140-12 A/D converter. Its a 2 channel simultaneous sampling 12bit A/D converters designed for digitizing high frequency, wide dynamic range signals. The circuitry on the analog inputs is optimized for analog input frequencies from 5MHz to 140MHz. They are perfect for demanding communications applications with AC performance. Ultralow jitter allows undersampling of IF frequencies with excellent noise performance. The digital outputs is of DDR LVDS mode. The encode clock inputs may be driven differentially with LVDS inputs. An optional clock duty cycle stabilizer allows high performance at full speed for a wide range of clock duty cycles. DC1620A demonstrates the performance of the LTC2140 in conjunction with the DC890B USB data acquisition board and DC1075A clock divider board.
