Product Information
Product Overview
The LV426842 from Square D by Schneider Electric is a shunt trip (MX). Shunt trip serves primarily for remote, emergency off commands. It trips the circuit breaker when the control voltage rises above 70% of its rated voltage (Un). Control signals can be impulse type of ≥ 20ms or maintained control signals. An 110VAC to 130VAC shunt trip is suitable for ground fault protection when combined with a Class I ground fault sensing element. The circuit breaker must be reset locally after being tripped by shunt trip (MX). MX voltage releases comply with UL 489, CSA C22.2 number 5 and IEC 60947-2 standards. Listed for field installation per UL file E103955 and certified under CSA file 177007. Tripping by the shunt trip has priority over manual closing in the presence of a standing trip order such an action does not result in any closing even temporarily of the main contacts.
