Product Overview
The TR-490 is a Scotchlok™ positive action Ratchet Tool that crimps the barrel and insulation grip on both insulated and non-insulated terminals and connectors independently. It has hardened steel jaws and handles with a corrosion-resistant finish that offers enhanced durability. The 80610589956 ratchet tool effectively crimps nylon, vinyl-insulated, butted or brazed-seam terminals. This compound lever-type tool has a ratchet mechanism which provides positive closure of the handles for a full crimping cycle. It is plastic-gripped and features a pawl release lever for the removal of misplaced terminals.
