Product Overview
AD7248 is a LC²MOS 12bit DACPORT. This is a complete 2-bit, voltage output, digital-to-analog converter with output amplifier and Zener voltage reference on a monolithic CMOS chip. No external user trims are required to achieve full specified performance for the part. The AD72458 is a complete, voltage output, 12bit DAC on chip. This single chip design of the DAC reference and output amplifier is inherently more reliable than multichip designs. The AD7248A is fabricated in an all ion-implanted, high-speed linear, compatible CMOS (LC2MOS) process.

- Maximum relative accuracy is ±1LSB (VDD=+15V ±5%, VSS=AGND=DGND=0V)
- Maximum differential nonlinearity is ±1LSB (guaranteed monotonic, VDD=+15V ±5%)
- Full scale temperature coefficient is ±30ppm of FSR/°C (VDD=+15V ±5%)
- Reference output range from 4.99 to 5.01V (25°C, VDD=+15V)
- Typical reference temperature coefficient is ±30ppm of FSR/°C (FSR=5V)
- Output range resistance range from 15 to 30Kohm (VDD=+15V±5%)
- Typical digital to analog glitch impulse is 30nV secs (major carry transition)
- VDD range from ±14.25 to ±15.75V (VDD=+15V±5%)
- 20 pin NDIP package, operating temperature range from 0 to 70°C
