Product Overview
AD7545 is a monolithic 12bit CMOS multiplying DAC with onboard data latches. It is loaded by a single 12bit wide word and directly interfaces to most 12- and 16bit bus systems. Data is loaded into the input latches under the control of the CS (active low) and WR (active low) inputs, tying this control input low makes the input latches transparent, allowing direct unbuffered operation of the DAC. The AD7545 is particularly suitable for single supply operation and applications with wide temperature variations.
- Typical low gain TC is 2 ppm/°C, fast TTL compatible data latches
- Supply voltage range from +5V to +15V
- Low cost, ideal for battery operated equipment
- Resolution is ±2LSB (max, VDD = +5V, TA = + 25°C)
- Differential nonlinearity is ±4 LSB (max, 10bit Monotonic TMIN to TMAX, VDD = +5V, TA = + 25°C)
- Gain error (using internal RFB) is ±20LSB (max, DAC register loaded with, VDD = +5V, TA = + 25°C)
- Propagation delay (from digital input change to 90% of final analog output) is 300ns (max)
- Digital-to-analog glitch impulse is 400nV sec (typ, VREF = AGND, VDD = +5V, TA = + 25°C)
- Input resistance (Pin 19 to GND) is 7kohm (min, input resistance TC = –300ppm/°C typ)
- 20 lead plastic DIP package, operating temperature range from 0°C to +70°C
