                      Product Overview

                      ADAF1080 is a single-axis, high-precision, magnetic-field sensor with integrated signal conditioning. The device incorporates an anisotropic magneto resistive (AMR) sensor with an integrated signal-conditioning amplifier, electrical-offset cancellation capabilities, integrated diagnostics, and an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) driver for precise measurement of magnetic fields up to ±8mT. It consists of two die within one package, an AMR sensor, and an application-specific IC (ASIC). The ADAF1080 provides a precision amplified output signal that is proportional to the magnetic field strength along the sensitive axis of the sensor. Typical applications are isolated and contactless current sensing, handheld current clamp meters, motor control current sense, AC and DC power applications, precision magnetic field sensing applications, precision linear encoders, low-noise, precision magnetometers.

                      • Output noise (noise density magnetic field equivalent) is 6nT/√Hz
                      • Flip coil to calibrate electrical offset over life and temperature, temperature compensated output
                      • Integrated precision instrumentation amplifier, programmable chopping for precision measurements
                      • Synchronization features for wide bandwidth applications, analog output optimized to drive ADC
                      • Ratiometric output capability to improve PSRR, programmable gain for 1.8V to 5V ADC range
                      • Wide and user-selectable output common-mode voltage, contactless current measurement
                      • Integrated electrical offset cancellation, integrated diagnostics
                      • Precise measurement of magnetic field strength in a single axis, low-noise analog front end
                      • Negligible hysteresis, electrical offset cancellation over life and temperature
                      • 20-lead frame chip scale package [LFCSP], -40°C to +125°C temperature rating
