                      Product Overview

                      ADUM2400 is a quad-channel digital isolator. It is a 4-channel digital isolator based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. This isolation component provide outstanding performance characteristics that are superior to alternatives such as optocoupler device. The typical optocoupler concerns regarding uncertain current transfer ratios, nonlinear transfer functions, and temperature and lifetime effects are eliminated with the simple icoupler digital interfaces and stable performance characteristics. This icoupler run at one-tenth to one-sixth the power of optocouplers at comparable signal data rates. This isolator is widely used in application such as general-purpose high voltage multichannel isolation, medical equipment, motor drives, power supplies. It is certified by UL recognition: 5000V rms for 1 minute per UL 1577, CSA component acceptance notice 5A, IEC 60601-1: 250V rms (reinforced), IEC 60950-1: 400V rms (reinforced).

                      • 3V to 5V level translation, high temperature operation is 105°C
                      • High common-mode transient immunity is <gt/>25kV/μs
                      • Operating temperature range is −40°C to +105°C
                      • Maximum propagation delay is 100ns (at 5V), maximum pulse width distortion is 40ns
                      • Maximum data rate is 1Mbps
                      • Number of inputs in VDD1 side is 4, number of inputs in VDD2 side is 0
                      • Package style is 16-lead WSOIC
                      • Supply voltage range is 2.7V to 5.5V
                      • Made up of high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology
