                      Product Overview

                      HMC892ALP5E is a tunable band-pass filter that features a user selectable pass-band frequency. This tunable filter can be used as a smaller alternative to physically large switched filter banks and cavity tuned filters. This has excellent microphonics due to the monolithic design and provides a dynamically adjustable solution in advanced communications applications. Application includes test and measurement equipment, military radar and electronic warfare (EW)/electronic countermeasures (ECM), satellite communications (SATCOM) and space, industrial and medical equipment.

                      • Amplitude settling is 200ns (typ, TA = 25°C, VFCTL = VBWCTL)
                      • Excellent wideband rejection is ≥30dB
                      • Single-chip replacement for mechanically tuned designs
                      • Frequency range from 3.45 to 6.25GHz (TA = 25°C, VFCTL = VBWCTL)
                      • 3dB bandwidth control, VBWCTL is 3% (typ)
                      • Rejection is 0.89GHz × fCENTER (typ, ≥20dB, TA = 25°C, low side)
                      • Insertion loss is 9.5dB (typ, TA = 25°C, VFCTL = VBWCTL)
                      • Maximum input power for linear operation is 10dBm (max, TA = 25°C)
                      • Input third-order intercept (IP3) is 32dBm (typ, Input power (PIN) = 20dBm per tone)
                      • 32 lead LFCSP package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
