                      Product Overview

                      MAX13431EEUB+T is a half-duplex RS-485 transceiver that features an adjustable low-voltage logic interface for operation in multi-voltage systems. This allows direct interfacing to low-voltage ASIC/FPGAs without extra components. This RS-485 transceiver operates with a VCC voltage supply from +3V to +5V. The low-voltage logic interface operates with a voltage supply from +1.62V to VCC. It features reduced slew-rate drivers that minimize EMI and reduce reflections caused by improperly terminated cables, allowing error-free data transmission up to 500Kbps. It is used in applications such as industrial control systems, portable industrial, equipment, motor control, and HVAC.

                      • Input supply voltage range from +3V to +5V
                      • Thermal shutdown protection, hot-swap input structures on DE and active-low RE
                      • Extended ESD protection for RS-485 I/O pins, 16Mbps data rate
                      • 256 transceivers on bus, ICC supply current is 2mA maximum at (TA = +25°C)
                      • ICC supply current in shutdown mode is 10µA maximum at (TA = +25°C)
                      • Driver propagation delay is 50ns maximum at (CL = 50pF, RDIFF = 54ohm)
                      • Driver differential output rise or fall time is 15ns maximum at (CL = 50pF, RL = 54ohm)
                      • Differential driver output skew is 8ns maximum at (CL = 50pF, RL = 54ohm)
                      • Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
                      • 10 μMAX package
