                      Product Overview

                      MAX13432EESD+T is a RS-485 transceiver with a low-voltage logic interface. It features an adjustable low-voltage logic interface for operation in multi-voltage systems. This allows direct interfacing to low-voltage ASIC/FPGAs without extra components. It features reduced slew-rate drivers that minimize EMI and reduce reflections caused by improperly terminated cables, allowing error-free data transmission up to 500kbps. Applications include industrial control systems, portable industrial, equipment, motor control, and HV AC.

                      • Low-voltage logic interface +1.62V (min)
                      • Thermal shutdown protection
                      • Hot-swap input structures on DE and active-low RE
                      • 1/8-unit load allows up to 256 transceivers on the bus
                      • Extended ESD protection for RS-485 I/O pins, ±30kV human body model
                      • ±15kV air-gap discharge per IEC 61000-4-2, ±10kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2
                      • Full duplex, 0.5Mbps data rate, slew rate limited
                      • 14 SO package
                      • Extended -40°C to +85°C operating temperature range
