Product Overview
MAX14931FASE+ is a 4-channel digital isolator. It offers all three possible unidirectional channel configurations to accommodate any 4-channel design including SPI, RS-232, RS-485, and digital I/O applications. Independent 1.71V to 5.5V supplies on each side of the isolator also make the device suitable for use as a level translators. Applications include fieldbus communications for industrial automation, isolated SPI, RS-232, RS-485/RS-422, general multichannel isolation applications, battery management, and medical systems. Safety regulatory approvals include UL according to UL1577, cUL according to CSA bulletin 5A, VDE 0884-11 basic insulation.
