                      Product Overview

                      MAX22291CASA/V+ is a reinforced, fast, low-power, two-channel digital isolator. It is a 2-channel reinforced, fast, low-power digital galvanic isolator using Maxim’s proprietary process technology. This device features reinforced isolation for a withstand voltage rating of 3kVRMS for 60 seconds. It transfers digital signals between circuits with different power domains, using as little as 0.78mW per channel at 1Mbps (1.8V supply). The low-power feature reduces system dissipation, increases reliability, and enables compact designs. This device is available with a maximum data rate of 200Mbps, and with outputs that are either default high or default low. It features low propagation delay and low clock jitter, which reduces system latency. It is approved by UL according to UL1577, cUL according to CSA bulletin 5A. It is used in applications such as automotive, hybrid electric vehicle, chargers, battery management systems (BMS), inverters.

                      • Clock jitter RMS is 7.5ps typical at (500KHz clock input, rising/falling edges)
                      • Propagation delay is 7ns typical at (3.0V ≤ VDD- ≤ 3.6V, TA = +25°C)
                      • Pulse width distortion is 0.4ns typical at (4.5V ≤ VDD- ≤ 5.5V, TA = +25°C)
                      • Rise time is 0.8ns typical at (4.5V ≤ VDD- ≤ 5.5V, TA = +25°C)
                      • Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 8-lead narrow SOIC package
