Product Overview
MAX249CQH+D is a +5V-powered, multichannel RS-232 driver/receiver. It is intended for all EIA/TIA-232E and V.28/V.24 communications interfaces, particularly applications. Applications include interface translation, multidrop RS-232 networks, portable diagnostics equipment.
- Saves board space
- Integrated charge pump circuitry
- Eliminates the need for a bipolar ±12V supply
- Enables single supply operation from +5V supply
- Saves power for reduced power requirements
- Output voltage swing is ±7.5V typ at all transmitter outputs loaded with 3kohm to GND
- Transmitter output resistance is 10Mohm typ at VCC=V+=V-=0V, VOUT=±2V
- Output short-circuit current is ±30mA typ at VOUT=0V
- 44 PLCC package
- 0°C to +70°C temperature range
