                      Product Overview

                      The MAX2607EUT+T is a 150MHz to 300MHz, integrated intermediate frequency (IF) voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) with differential/single ended output in 6 pin SOT-23 package. This compact, high performance IF VCO combines monolithic construction with low noise and low power operation in tiny SOT-23 package. It has an on-chip varactor and feedback capacitors that eliminate the need for external tuning elements. Only an external inductor is required to set oscillation frequency. In addition, an integrated differential output buffer is provided for driving mixer or prescaler. The buffer output is capable of supplying up to -8dBm (differential) with simple power match. It also provides isolation from load impedance variations. The MAX2607 is used in general purpose IF oscillators, GPS receivers, land mobile radio, 902MHz to 928MHz ISM band and 2.4GHz ISM band applications.

                      • Low phase noise (QL ≥ 35) of -107dBc/Hz at fOFFSET = 100KHz
                      • Wide application frequency range
                      • Frequency limits (relative to nominal) of -4.6% to 3.6% at TA = +25°C
                      • On-chip temperature stable bias
                      • Low current operation
                      • Supply current of 2.1mA at TA = +25°C and supply pushing of 220KHz/V
                      • DC output current of 1mA
