Product Overview
The MAX3232ESE+ is a RS232 transceiver in 16 pin NSOIC package. This transceiver has proprietary low dropout transmitter output stage enabling true RS232 performance from 3V to 5.5V supply with dual charge pump. The device requires only four small 0.1μF external charge pump capacitors. The MAX3232 has two receivers and two drivers.
- Maximum data rate of 235Kbps
- Receiver propagation delay of 0.3μs
- Maximum transition region slew rate of 30V/μs at CL = 150pF to 1000pF
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- Continuous power dissipation of 696mW at TA = 70°C
