Product Overview
The MAX6425UK29+T is a low power microprocessor (μP) reset circuit with capacitor adjustable reset timeout delay in 5 pin SOT-23 package. This supervisor circuit monitors system voltages from 1.6V to 5V. The device performs a single function that is it asserts a reset signal whenever the VCC supply voltage falls below its reset threshold. The reset output remains asserted for the reset timeout period after VCC rises above the reset threshold. The reset timeout is externally set by a capacitor to provide more flexibility. The MAX6425 has an active-low, open-drain reset output. It is typically used in battery powered computers/controllers, intelligent instruments and embedded controllers.
