Product Overview
The 878B CAL D from B&K Precision is a dual display handheld LCR meter measures L, C, R, Q, D quickly and precisely. Fast auto ranging and quick measurement configuration such as measurement parameter and test frequency selection makes meter very simple to operate. The meter also includes handy functions such as data hold, min/max/average recording, tolerance sorting and relative mode. Measurement data can continuously transfer to a PC via the meter’s mini USB interface, using either the provided data logging software or SCPI commands sent from a custom program. It is typically used in passive component troubleshooting, electronic assembly and quality control (component sorting).
- Calibrated with data LCR meter, 40000/10000 counts resolution on primary/secondary display
- 0.5% accuracy, 120Hz, 1KHz test frequency, 0.6Vrms test signal, 1.5 readings/sec measurement rate
- Flexible operation, tolerance mode of 1%, 5%, 10%, 680ms response time (typ)
- Auto ranging mode, 3 terminals with sockets & series/ parallel measuring circuit mode
- Operating temperature of 32°F to 104°F (0 to 40°C), 0-70% R.H
- 6.8V low battery indication (typical) & 9V, 16hours alkaline battery

Do not connect an external power adapter when a battery is installed incorrectly (reverse polarity or non-matching polarity to indicator of battery compartment). Doing so will damage the instrument.
