The SMA915DJQD-28406 is a SPDT relay-output Diffuse Mode Sensor detects the reflection of its own light from the object being sensed and so requires no special reflectors. The VALU-BEAM® 915 series sensor is ideal for applications where the reflectivity and profile of the object is sufficient to return a large portion of the emitted light back to the sensor. This sensor is rugged, self-contained photoelectric sensor designed for especially demanding industrial applications where economy, performance and durability are important. Powerful, modulated LED light sources provide a wide sensing range. The sensor is extremely robust, being totally epoxy-encapsulated, it is highly resistant to shock, vibration, moisture and corrosion.
