Product Overview
EZCTP-R2 is a EZ check cable tester with tone generation and probe for RJ-45 CAT5 or CAT6 and coax cables. It performs complete TIA/EIA-568 testing for continuity, opens/shorts, reversals, and split pairs.
- Features a "tone" mode for tracing and troubleshooting, for use with the included probe
- Gives accurate pass/fail results in one second
- Each pair's status is highlighted with LEDs
- Cushioned for toolbox storage and frequent field use, has no LCD to break
- Remote is stored in the body of the tester
- Shuts off after 12 seconds of disuse to save battery power
- Low battery indicator
