                      Product Overview

                      PMB201 is a PMB series PyroMiniBus infrared temperature sensor with RS-485 ModBus for multi-channel installations. It is designed to measure the surface temperature of non-reflective materials in industrial applications, from -20°C to 1000°C. It can be connected directly to a third-party Modbus host, such as a PLC or SCADA system. This has direct RS-485 Modbus communications and there is no need for additional interface hardware. It can measure painted surfaces, food, paper, thick plastics, asphalt, paint, bulk materials and organic materials, as well as most dirty, rusty or oily surfaces. Ideal for continuous temperature monitoring at multiple locations e.g. busbar surface temperature in switchgear cabinets.

                      • 20:1 general-purpose divergent optics field of view
                      • RS-485 Modbus RTU interface, ±1% of reading or ±1°C whichever is greater accuracy
                      • 50mA max supply current, 9600 baud rate
                      • 125ms (90% response) response time, 24VDC (min. 6VDC / max. 28VDC) supply voltage
                      • Miniature non-contact industrial pyrometers
                      • Sensor has RS-485 Modbus communications, can be connected directly to third-party Modbus hardware
                      • Low-cost standalone 6-channel system, conforms to industrial EMC standards
                      • Network, robust, compact, local display, low cost, M16 x 1mm pitch thread mounting
                      • IP65 environmental rating, stainless steel construction
                      • Temperature range from -20 to 1000°C, dimension is 0.70inch diameter x 1.77inch long
