Product Information
Product Overview
AH1895-Z-7 is a medium-sensitivity micropower omnipolar hall effect switch IC with internal pull-up and pull-down capability. Designed for portable and battery-powered equipment such as cellular phones and portable PCs to home appliances and industrial applications, the average supply current is only 4.3uA at 1.85V. To support portable equipment the AH1895 can operate over the supply range of 1.6V to 3.6V and uses a hibernating clocking system to minimize the power consumption. It is used in applications such as open and close detection for cellular phones, holster or cover detection for cellular phones and tablet PCs, cover or display switches in portable PCs, digital stills, video cameras and handheld gaming consoles, doors, Lids, and tray position switches, level, proximity and position switches, contact-Less switches in home appliances and industrial applications.
- Omnipolar operation (north or south pole), supply voltage range from 1.6V to 3.6V
- Medium sensitivity, micropower operation, no external pull-up resistors required
- Superior temperature stability, minimal switch point drift, enhanced immunity to physical stress
- Good RF noise immunity, high ESD capability of 8kV (human body model)
- Supply current is 2.1mA typ at (during ‘awake’ period, TA = +25°C, VDD = 3V)
- Duty cycle is 0.1% typical at (TA = +25°C, VDD = 1.85V)
- Output leakage current is 1µA maximum at (VOUT = 3.6V, output off)
- 50ms typical period at (TA = +25°C, VDD = 1.85V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
- SOT553 package
