The HMC1002-RC is a 20-pin SOIC 2-axis Linear Magnetic Sensor designed for low field magnetic sensing. This surface mount sensor utilize Honeywell's anisotropic magneto resistive (AMR) technology that provides advantages over coil based magnetic sensors. Easy to assemble and compatible with high speed SMT assembly. Sensor can be used in strong magnetic field environments. Compatible for battery powered applications. Suitable for compassing, navigation systems, magnetometry and current sensing.
