61-946 is a SureTrace™ circuit tracer. It is an electrical troubleshooting solution, engineered to help you work more efficiently. This tool effortlessly traces and locates breakers, fuses, and conductors hidden in walls, ceilings, and floors, while pinpointing wiring issues like dead shorts, opens, and splice errors. It works on both energized and de-energized systems, including 3-Phase systems up to 480V AC/DC. The receiver has an easy-to-read display, which can be illuminated in low light situations as needed, and includes a mute function for working in noise-sensitive locations. The transmitter features CertainCircuit™ technology that enables quick breaker/fuse confirmation and live circuit identification. It has a convenient built-in kickstand, and integrated adapter for an (optional) hanging strap. With an over-molded industrial grip for easy handling and 2m drop protection, this tracer is built to withstand the toughest jobs.
