Product Overview
TLV493DA2BWXTMA1 is a low-power 3D hall sensor with an I²C interface. The TLV493D-A2BW is designed for a wide range of magnetic sensing, including the following joysticks and gimbals, household products (vacuum cleaners, coffee machines, wash machines), personal care electrical devices ( face shavers, electric toothbrushes), wearable devices (smart watch, smart band), consumer robotics, anti-tampering in smart meters.
- Disturbance of smaller stray fields are neglectable compared to high magnetic flux measurement range
- Sensitivity X, Y, Z (extra short range) is 30.8LSB12/ mT typ (VDD = 3.3V, Tj = 25°C)
- Small sensor form factor allows for very compact system designs
- Supply current is 7nA typ, 3D (X, Y, Z) magnetic flux density sensing up to ±160mT
- 12-bit data resolution for each measurement direction plus 10-bit temperature sensor
- Variable update frequencies and power modes (configurable during operation)
- Triggering by external microcontroller possible via I²C protocol, X-Y angular measurement mode
- Interrupt signal to indicate a valid measurement to the microcontroller
- Qualified for industrial applications according to JEDEC JESD47
- SG-WFWLB-5-2 package, operating temperature range from -20 to 85°C (Tj = Ta +3K in fast mode)
