1147B CAL DU

The 1147B CAL DU from Keysight Technologies is a DC to 50MHz wide bandwidth, 15A AC/DC active current probe with AutoProbe interface for InfiniiVision and Infiniium oscilloscopes. It is ideal for capturing transient current signals such as those found in motor controllers, switching power supplies, inverters and current amplifiers driving inductive loads. The 1147B probe is compatible with high impedance AutoProbe interface which completely configures oscilloscope for probe when used with the 3000X-, 4000 X-, 5000, 6000 300MHz - 1GHz, 7000 series scopes. The probe has maximum continuous current of 15A peak, 15A DC, 10Arms (when two probes are used with InfiniiVision scope), 30A peak, 30ADC, 24 Arms (when one probe is used with InfiniiVision 3000X, 5000/6000/7000 scope) and maximum peak non-continuous current of 30A peak (when two probes are used with InfiniiVision scope), 32A peak (when one probe is used with InfiniiVision scope).

• Calibrated with data and uncertainties with highly accurate current detection
• 7ns or less rise time and 0.1V/A output voltage rate
• Flat frequency response, low noise (<lt/> 2.5mArms) and low circuit insertion loss
• Maximum number of probes supported is 2, diameter of measurable conductors is 5mm (0.2inch)
• Split-core construction allows easy circuit connection, easy to degauss and offset zero calibration
• Maximum input voltage is 300V CAT and maximum rated power is 3VA (with rated current)
• Noise is equivalent to 2.5mArms or less (for 20MHz bandwidth measuring instrument)
• High S/N ratio, low current measurement capability, easy protect function at excessive input
• Demagnetizing switch to remove any residual magnetism that builds up in the magnetic core
• Probe power is provided by the scope, no need for an external power supply

Warnings

To avoid short circuits and accidents that could result in injury or death, use the 1147B only with power lines carrying 300V or less.

This unit is not constructed to be waterproof or dustproof, so do not use it in a very dusty environment or in one where it will get wet.
