Product Overview
VDV500-163 is a digital tone generator for wire identification, wire tracing and wire pair identification. When used with the Digital Tracing Probe (VDV500-223; sold separately), you can trace and locate cables on an active network and wire map to check pin-to-pin connections with shield detection and features angled bed-of-nails (ABN) clips to securely attach to wires. Use the RJ45 port to easily test RJ45, RJ11, and RJ12 data cables.
- Tests for continuity and polarity with response displayed on clearly labeled, easy-to-read LEDs
- Three distinct tone cadences
- Auto power-off and low battery indicator
