Product Overview
FOT-CLV is a fiber optic field cleaver for field installations. It is a leaf spring operated fiber cleaver designed for single fiber splices. The FOT-CLV is used for quick terminations of field connectors and also mechanical splicing. The FOT-CLV is designed for 250um to 900um fiber coatings and with the graduated scale easily measure the cleave length from 2mm to 20mm. The FOT-CLV uses a carbide blade which is good for up to 6000 cleaves before needing to be replaced. Application includes mechanical splicing, field terminations, data centers, fiber optic installers, FTTx applications.

- Designed for silica glass fiber (core and cladding)
- For fiber sizes 900um buffer or 250um coated, for cladding diameters of 80um to 200um
