Newly designed U3A00100 family of USB 3.0 versions of L-com's popular UPM style panel mount USB adapter cables are now available with L-com's popular Latching A Type connector! This series features a bulkhead Type A 3.0 jack to a Type A 3.0 Latching plug. The unique Latching A connector provides a secure connection to any USB Type A jack and provides much greater retention than typical USB friction fit. Available in PVC or LSZH. USB 3.0 systems are up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 - 4.8Gbps versus 480 Mbps. The increased bandwidth substantially reduces the time required for transferring large amounts of data or video. These assemblies are fully shielded and use L-com's popular UPM style housing that can be used with virtually any panel thickness. The recommended 4-40 mounting screws must be purchased separately (P/N ECF440). Suitable for data storage and acquisition, test and measurement, video transfer or cameras, portable data storage, gaming hardware and interfaces.
