Product Overview
The PLED 5HT SOT 89 series Open LED Protector with reverse battery/power protection. It provides three methods of increasing the reliability of LED lighting. Method 1 - If of the LEDs in the array fails open, it provides a substitute electronic path so that the array continues to function. Method 2 - It protects against ESD events up to ±8kV for contact discharges and ±15kV for air discharges per the IEC 61000-4-2 electrostatic immunity standard. Method 3 - It provides protection in the case of accidental reverse battery or power connection.
