Product Overview
ATMEGA328PB-MNR is a low-power CMOS 8-bit microcontroller based on the AVR-enhanced RISC architecture. By executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle, it achieves throughputs close to 1MIPS per MHz. This empowers the system designer to optimize the device for power consumption versus processing speed. The core combines a rich instruction set with 32 general-purpose working registers. All 32 registers are directly connected to the Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU), allowing two independent registers to be accessed in a single instruction executed in one clock cycle. The resulting architecture is more code efficient while achieving throughputs upto ten times faster than conventional CISC microcontrollers. The device is manufactured using high-density non-volatile memory technology. It is a powerful microcontroller that provides a highly flexible and cost-effective solution to many embedded control applications.
