EV78U65A is a MCHV-230V AC-1.5kW motor control high-voltage development board. The Motor Control System (MCS) Development Tool Ecosystem enables you to rapidly develop motor control designs controlled by dsPIC® DSCs, SAM, PIC32MK, PIC32MC, and PIC32C MCUs. The MCS Development Tool Ecosystem consists of modular and interchangeable inverter boards, controller boards (Dual In-line Modules or DIMs), and Xplained Pro headers for user defined expansion. The MCHV-230V AC-1.5kW motor control high-voltage development board is targeted to drive a three-phase PMSM, BLDC motor or an AC Induction Motor (ACIM) in both sensored and sensorless operation. This development board features a front-end single-stage boost PFC to meet power regulatory requirements. The inverter board uses a three-phase IPM that contains the motor inverter and the gate driver’s circuitry. The inverter circuit drives 3-phase motors using different control techniques without requiring any additional hardware.
