Product Overview
The TCM809TENB713 from Microchip is a 3 pin microcontroller reset monitor in SOT-23B package. This cost effective system supervisor circuits designed to monitor VDD in digital systems providing a reset signal to the host processor when necessary. No external components are required. The RESET output is typically driven active within 65µsec of VDD falling through the reset voltage threshold. RESET is maintained active for a minimum of 140msec after VDD rises above the reset threshold. The output of the TCM809 is valid down to VDD = 1V and it is optimized to reject fast transient glitches on the VDD line. A low supply current of 9µA (VDD = 3.3V) make this device suitable for battery powered applications. It is also used in computers, embedded systems and critical microcontroller power supply monitoring.
