Product Overview
FXLS93230AESR2 is a dual channel DSI3, PSI5, SPI, and I²C compatible lateral (X-axis or Y-axis) or vertical (Z-axis) inertial sensor. Application includes airbag, collision/crash detection, active suspension vibration monitoring (automotive), machine condition monitoring (industrial).
- Discovery mode for physical location identification, high side bus switch output driver
- Command and response mode support for device configuration
- Periodic data collection mode support for sensor data transfers
- Background diagnostic mode support during periodic data collection mode
- Optional daisy chain with external low side switch
- Two-wire programming mode, register read and write commands
- Sensor data transmission commands, command echo with 3-bit source identification
- 2-bit basic status and 2-bit detailed status fields
- Standard mode, fast mode, and fast mode plus support
- HLQFN16 package, operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
