Product Overview
TDA8034HN/C2QL is a low-power smart card interface. It is a cost-effective analog interface for asynchronous and synchronous smart cards operating at 5V, 3V or 1.8V. Using a few external components, it provides all supply, protection, and control functions between a smart card and the microcontroller. Application includes pay TV, electronic payment, identification, and bank card readers.
- Very low power consumption in deep shutdown mode
- Three protected half-duplex bidirectional buffered I/O lines (C4, C7 and C8)
- Thermal and short-circuit protection for all card contacts
- Enhanced card-side ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) protection of <gt/> 8kV
- External clock input up to 26MHz connected to pin XTAL1
- Non-inverted control of pin RST using pin RSTIN
- Built-in debouncing on card presence contacts (typically 8ms)
- Compatible with ISO 7816, NDS and EMVCo4.3 payment systems, multiplexed status signal using pin OFFN
- HVQFN24 package
- Ambient temperature range from -25 to +85°C
