Product Overview
TWR-SMPS-LVFB is a low-voltage, full-bridge DC-DC switch mode power supply tower system module. This is a development tool for switch mode power supplies. It is used in conjunction with the tower system development platform, providing ready-made software and hardware development for low-voltage, full-bridge DC-DC switch mode power supply and using various control algorithms. As is standard with all tower system modules, this peripheral module is interchangeable across the development platform and can be used with a variety of existing controller modules including TWR-KV46F150M, TWR-KV31F120M, TWR-56F8400, and TWR-56F8200.
- Power topology full-bridge DC-DC converter with synchronous rectification
- Power supply input voltage input of 20-30V DC, output voltage 5V and load up to 8A
- Input power supply reverse polarity protection circuitry
- Input and output voltage sensing with under and over voltage protection
- Primary current sensing for average and peak current control implementation
- Transformer primary current sensing with overload and short circuit protection
- Full-bridge MOSFET driver to driver primary full bridge MOSFETs
- Half-bridge MOSFET driver for synchronous MOSFET driving
- Dynamic/transient load circuit to test digital control loop performance on transient load
- To be used with TWR-ELEV and tower system compatible controller module (required, but not included)
