TWR-TWRPI-BD

TWR-TWRPI-BD is a tower plug-in carrier module. Incorporating sensors, radios and other peripheral elements into your embedded design is easy with the Tower® Plug-In Carrier Module (TWR-TWRPI-BD). This peripheral module enables rapid prototyping and evaluation by allowing the addition of up to three general-purpose Tower Plug-Ins (TWRPIs), including accelerometers, barometers, radios, and more. As is standard with all Tower System modules, this peripheral module is interchangeable across the modular development platform and can be used with a variety of existing controller modules, including the TWR-K60D100M and TWR-K70F120M.

• MMA8451Q: ±2g/±4g/±8g, Low g, 14-bit digital accelerometer
• Independent UART interfaces with optional flow control available on sockets A and C
• Access to Tower® Plug-In (TWRPI) sockets allowing SPI, I²C, and UART communication interfaces
• Independent SPI interfaces, each with two selectable follower select signals
• Selectable I²C-bus shares between all TWRPI sockets
• Independent selection of GPIO or interrupt functionality
• All signals can be isolated from tower system to avoid signal conflicts w/ additional tower modules
• Optional TWRPI ID signals for detection of TWRPI modules
