Product Overview
UJA1161ATK/0Z is a self-supplied high-speed CAN transceiver with standby mode. It is a ‘self-supplied’ high-speed CAN transceiver integrating an ISO 11898-2:2016 and SAE J2284-1 to SAE J2284-5 compliant HS-CAN transceiver and an internal 5V CAN supply. The only supply input is a battery connection. The UJA1161A can be operated in a very low-current standby mode with bus wake-up capability. This implementation enables reliable communication in the CAN FD fast phase at data rates up to 5Mbit/s.
- Hardware and software compatible with the UJA116x product family and with improved EMC performance
- Autonomous bus biasing according to ISO 11898-6
- Fully integrated 5V supply (VBUF) for the CAN transmitter/receiver
- VIO input allows for direct interfacing with 3.3V to 5V microcontrollers
- Bus connections are truly floating when power pin BAT is off
- Power-on detection threshold voltage range from 4.2 to 4.55V (Tvj = -40 to +150°C)
- Battery supply current is 4mA typ (CAN recessive, VTXD = VIO, Tvj = -40 to +150°C)
- Output voltage range from 4.9 to 5.1V (VBAT = 5.5V to 28V, Tvj = -40 to +150°C)
- HVSON14 package
- Virtual junction temperature range from -40 to +150°C
