                      Product Overview

                      UJA1167ATK/X/0Z is a mini high-speed CAN system-based chip with standby/sleep modes and watchdog. It is a mini high-speed CAN System Basis Chip (SBC) containing an ISO 11898-2:2016 and SAE J2284-1 to SAE J2284-5 compliant HS-CAN transceiver and an integrated 5V/100mA supply for a microcontroller. It also features a watchdog and a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). The UJA1167A can be operated in very-low-current Standby and Sleep modes with bus and local wake-up capability and supports ISO 11898-2:2016 compliant autonomous CAN biasing. The microcontroller supply is switched off in Sleep mode. The UJA1167ATK variant contains a battery-related high-voltage output (INH) for controlling an external voltage regulator, while the UJA1167ATK/X is equipped with a 5V sensor supply (VEXT). This implementation enables reliable communication in the CAN FD fast phase at data rates up to 5Mbit/s.

                      • Hardware and software compatible with the UJA116x product family and with improved EMC performance
                      • Autonomous bus biasing according to ISO 11898-6
                      • Bus connections are truly floating when power to pin BAT is off
                      • Normal and standby, sleep, reset modes, 1: 5V, C and CAN, VEXT: 5V, external loads
                      • SPI: for control and diagnostics, RSTN: reset pin host interface
                      • Watchdog, local WAKE pin, non-volatile memory
                      • Power-on detection threshold voltage range from 4.2 to 4.55V (Tvj = -40 to +150°C)
                      • Output voltage is 5V typ (VBAT = 5.5 to 28V, IV1 = -120mA to 0mA, VTXD = VV1)
                      • HVSON14 package
                      • Virtual junction temperature range from -40 to +150°C
