Product Overview
MOC3020-M is a MOC302XM series optically isolated triac driver. This device contains a GaAs infrared emitting diode and a light activated silicon bilateral switch, which functions like a triac. It is designed for interfacing between electronic controls and power triacs to control resistive and inductive loads for 115VAC operations. Applications includes industrial controls, solenoid/valve controls, traffic lights, static AC power switch, vending machines, incandescent lamp dimmers, solid state relay, motor control and lamp ballasts.

- Excellent IFT stability-IR emitting diode has low degradation
- UL1577, 4170VACRMS for 1 minute, DIN EN/IEC60747-5-5 safety and regulatory approvals
- Maximum working insulation voltage is 850Vpeak
- Highest allowable overvoltage is 6000Vpeak
- Input to output test voltage (method A, VIORM x 1.6 = VPR) is 1275Vpeak
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
- Continuous forward current is 60mA
- Peak repetitive surge current (PW = 100s, 120pps) is 1A
- Isolation voltage (t = 1 minute) is 4170VACRMS
