The AS168X series thermal magnetic high performance Miniature Circuit Breaker offers AC and DC in the same frame size. The AC series offers ratings of 0.5 to 52A at 480Y/277VAC with an interrupt capacity of 10kA, making it well suited for industrial applications such as commercial ovens and industrial printers. The UL 508 manual motor controller provides motor disconnect from 0.5 to 30A and provides motor protection from 1/10-20 horsepower for applications such as motor and control panel applications. The DC series rated 0.5 to 52A at 360VDC with an interrupt capacity of 10kA, ideal for industrial converters, inverters and test systems. The family has three levels of short-circuit protection, categorized by F/DF, G/DG and H/DH curves. The AS168X is available in AC or DC units from one to four poles. Multi-pole devices are connected internally and at the handle for simultaneous operation. This applies also to combinations with the switched neutral pole.
