This Extender transmits and receives HDMI signal over any two "in-active" 2-conductor cable, such as, speaker wire, network cable, alarm wire, coaxial cable, and telephone wire. This extender includes a transmitter and receiver unit and features a transmission distance of up to 300 meters. Supporting multicast distribution the transmitter unit is capable of driving up to 4 receiver units using either 4 individual wire pairs over 300m each, or daisy chaining the receivers. This transmitter/receiver set is capable of IR pass-back for controlling the transmitter side source signal easily from the receiver side. Built in RS232 serial port supports bi-directional RS232 pass-back .This product is widely used in home theater systems, media projects, entertainment and exhibition centers.
